Dustin Matthew Turpin (43), Bedford: Arrested by Bedford Police at Wilson Park on Sept. 27 at 2:28 PM for Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun with a Prior Conviction.
Kyle Larry Pollock (38), Bedford: Arrested by Bedford Police at Kindred Spirits (702 Lincoln Ave) on Sept. 27 at 10:12 PM. Charged with Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), OWI with Endangerment, OWI with a BAC of .15% or Above / Controlled Substance, and Public Intoxication by Alcohol.

Incident Highlights

Stabbing Investigation / Battery with Weapon: BPD and LCSD emergency personnel responded to a battery with a weapon/stabbing call reported near 17th & G/H Streets (715 17th St) on Sept. 27 at 5:56 PM.
Weapons & Narcotics Arrests at Wilson Park: Officers investigated suspicious persons at Wilson Park on Sept. 27 at 2:28 PM, leading to the arrests of Gavin Williams Arney for possession of meth and Dustin Matthew Turpin for felon in possession of a handgun.
OWI Arrest at Kindred Spirits: BPD arrested Kyle Larry Pollock on multiple drunk driving charges, including high-BAC endangerment and public intoxication, outside Kindred Spirits at 10:12 PM on Sept. 27.
Unresponsive / CPR Response: Emergency crews were dispatched to 1817 E St in Bedford on Sept. 27 at 7:10 AM for an unresponsive individual receiving CPR.
Domestic Disturbances:
- Bedford: BPD responded to a physical domestic dispute on 18th St at 11:38 AM, followed by an LCSD dispatch to New Sandpit Acres Rd at 12:00 PM and Maple Ridge at 7:48 PM.
- Oolitic: Sheriff's deputies responded to a physical domestic fight on 9th St at 11:30 PM on Sept. 27.
Wildland Fire: Fire crews were dispatched to an outdoor/wildland fire at 7401 SR 37 N in Bedford on Sept. 27 at 5:05 PM.
