Incident Highlights

Burglary & Institutional Mischief Arrest: Bedford Police responded to a vandalism and mental subject complaint in the 1400 block of 13th St late Sunday morning, leading to the arrest of 37-year-old Adam Trent Shoults on felony charges of burglary, residential entry, and institutional criminal mischief.

Unresponsive / CPR Response: Emergency medical personnel and deputies were dispatched to Pleasant Run Rd in Heltonville on Oct. 11 at 7:44 PM for an unresponsive individual receiving CPR.
Hit-and-Run & Property Damage Crashes:
- Priceless Hometown IGA (510 N St): Bedford Police investigated a leaving-the-scene collision (Accident-LTS) on Oct. 11 at 3:21 PM.
- Heltonville: Deputies responded to a property damage accident on W Pleasant Run Rd on Oct. 11 at 2:28 PM.
Vandalism Spree: Deputies logged several separate property vandalism complaints Sunday morning across Hardin Ridge Rd and Sasser Dr in Bedford, alongside a BPD vandalism report on 12th St.
Controlled Burns & Open Fires: Multiple controlled burns were registered across Ridge Rd in Williams, Peerless Quarry Rd, Boone Hollow Rd, and US Hwy 50 W. Fire personnel were also dispatched to an active fire along SR 37 & 5th St on Oct. 11 at 9:35 PM.
